You have got to love this kind of honesty, desency and integrity. It is good to know that it is still out there. Cheers. George.

Have to agree with George. It's nice to see someone who is willing to help out a fellow hobbyist. Having said that, there are too many amonst us who would grab it just on the chance that they could sell it later on. This guy seems to understand what is lurking out there.

Ted i only wish that 261 was around the corner instead of that far way . I would love to BUY! an extra 261. I have an extra 261 but would love one more. Yes integrity still does exist out there, it just getting harder and harder to find. An ad like this gives me hope in my fellow man on a smaller scale. Cheers. George.

I'm sure you have probably sold your engine, but I just have to respond. I have an original 1947 Chevrolet Fleetline . It has never been restored. But it really needs a lot of help before it will be a proud car again. Right now it has a 216 engine in it that runs not bad. The only problem is it also has a cracked block. I am desperate to find an engine at a reasonable price. If you have, or know of someone that has a 235 or 261 I would love to get it.
Well, Manitoba isn't to far away. And I'm sure it is better than what I have now, as mine has a cracked block. Do you know what year of car it came out of? If it is just one cylinder that is low it is probably valves. Could you send me an email, I get really lost sometimes in forums.
Thanks

I bet its a better engine than the one in my 47 chevy. It has a cracked block. I would be interested in getting your engine. If only one cylinder is low it is probably in the valves. Could you please send me an email, I get lost in these forums sometimes.
The 235 offered above is in Saskatchewan, and it is not mine.
