Here's the problem gents: After a lengthy absence from the '52 I have found the engine won't turn over. I have charged the 6V battery over night and dropped her in this morning. Now the gauges show power, the lights come on, but there is zilch, nada, nothing when I try to turn her over, not even a grunt of disapproval. Can it be that I haven't charged the battery enough to provide starting power, or are there more sinister forces at work here?
Make sure the car is in park, maybe put it in gear an back. If its a manual, with it in gear, rock it back and forth a few times. Sometimes the starter might be hung up on the flywheel. Maybe try shorting the starter? Loose cable connection at the starter(or wires)?

Any "click" or signs the starter is "trying" ??? Try turning the fan & see if engine is "free" [make sure key is off] & put some tension on belt to get it to turn. If free you may have to drop the starter, after you check it w.test light to see if power there when you try to start it. Has that got key start or pedal on floor???
