Go find the option sticker of the car, could be on the trunk lid or the glove box door and get the g's or h codes and post them, should be able to figure it out from thre
Jack the rear up, don't forget to chock the front wheels also using jack stands under the rearend or frame back is a good safety measure. put a horizontal mark with white out on the driveshaft and one on top of rear wheel well and wheel (tire), turn the rear wheel twice and count the turns the driveshaft made, this will give you the ratio. See if there is a posi tag on the rear cover as well. Good Luck.
unfortunatly nthere was no option sticker anywhere that i could find would any tags have codes for it?
I don't think they had those stickers until about 80 or maybe a bit later. The next best thing would be to take the stamped numbers/letters off the front of the passenger side axle tube and post them. I can decode it for you with that.
