Thanks, but I think the shipping cost for the seat will be enough. Unless theres lot of other bits to part out

I have a white vinyl split bench from a 65 (I think) that is in quite nice shape that I would love to part out, but to Australia, really? I would do it but the freight....

I could take some pics if you want

Please take photos(they are cheap).Pm me a price.Food for thought while I look at shipping costs.I also posted pm with tin man late last night. The problem I have is the bucket seats that are there just bolted to floor(non stregthen part in centre)and if I weld in bks/plate I need engineers report for roadworthy  to re-regester. The engineers report hurdreds of $,the same goes if I modify seat belts to roll in ones.

Yeah especially her!  Maybe I'll stuff her in the seat cushions when I ship it and she can be a ship's cat.

Hi Budgie busy weekend but I took some pics of the split bench that I know belongs in a 65 parisienne hardtop because its still in the car.  It actually belongs to my brother but I'm quite sure he has no use for it.  It black but is in pretty nice shape as it has been in a car that has shaded glass which saved it quite a bit from rotting out as badly as it would have otherwise.

Here are some shots.  The style is quite different than the white one so i do believe that the white one is from a 64 or earlier.  if you aren't picky on colour this would be something that will bolt in I am sure.

just to be sure, anybody out there have any experince with convertible seats being different than hardtops

Just the rear seats are different, the fronts are the same.

Thanks!  thats what I thought.  I  know that budgie had asked you as well if you had one. I hope you don't mind that I jumped in here but I had really wanted to get rid of the white seat to soem one who needed it and it seemed like it was going to the rigth one.  Now I figure that it isn't even a 65 seat.  Just the way enthusiam goes but the black one is quite decent and should work for him if he wants it.  i just kind of like the idea somehow of sending a seat out of a parts car as far away as you can it in this world.

Of course its probably going to get a lot more complicated that I was counting on.  Too bad there aren't too many down there for parts I'm thinking.
