Walk the Edge of the CN Tower

Ray, you should give this a go..

This artist's rendition shows a proposed walkway near the top of the CN Tower in Toronto. As if the view from the top of the CN Tower isn't thrilling enough - people will soon be able to walk around the ledge outside. The famous Toronto landmark is offering a new attraction this summer called EdgeWalk. I wonder if you actually walk around the tower? If so, it appears you'd have to unclasp your cable and hook it past the stanchions. Fun times!

You know that's one thing I have never done in Toronto, never been up the CN tower. My kids do the annual stair climb but I've never set foot in it.

I once sat at The Black Bull patio in T.O. and had an interesting talk (and couple beers) with 2 of the tower's window washers. I hope they didn't go up afterwards beer.gif

Auckland New Zealand has the same walk on the Sky Tower and one bonus, you can jump off it. I did the jump last year off the Sky Tower, 630 feet, travel at 85km per hour and all in 11 second's. What a rush. Plus a great view off the city!!
