rewiring the old gal


alright guys and gals i need to know whats the best way to rewire the parisienne... would a 1967 impala harness work? or make a new harness.... i would rather never reuse the old one

What about a Painless kit? They offer more circuits for more accessories and each wire is labeled making diagnosis easier. Also, they use the new style fuses instead of the glass ones.

I'm using a E-Z wiring harness, same as the other Kits but "you don't pay an extra $100 for the name Painless or Francis  All wires are labled,22 circuit's & around $185 US comes with late model fuse box [pre-wired] all wire are labeled & easy instructions. Google them

old harness just fine, with the exception of a few live circuts. shut down the amp meter unplug the harness. trace the live power wire in your book. its usually runs from the main bussbar aka horn relay and starter. i convert mine to volatage gauge lookes original much safer. look for cracks in the wires casing and relay the headlight switch for halogen and bobs your uncle
