Selling the 413 Mopar big block I just picked up. Long story, but I basically decided to go back to my original plan with the car.
Its a 72' Motorhome engine with a square bore 4brl intake, and is complete from intake to oil pan - no carb. All other accessories are there. Its from a 72,000 mile class A and was a good strong runner before it was pulled.
Yes, it is a forged crank motor.
Yes, it does have the heavy duty motorhome block - they cast the 413 blocks for these heavier applications with 440 water jacket cores. So they are basically underbored 440's. A lot of people bore them out to a stock 440 bore and have a 440.
Personally I would bore it to 426ci (a nice round number, and still have cylinder walls 70 thou thicker that a standard bore 440!), drop a set of the 440source Stealth aluminum heads on it (Under $1000 for a set!) and make some serious power.
$300 - its located just north of the city in my hobby shop. I can help load it - have a engine crane and leveller.
