59 Pontiac rust issues????

I'm looking at a 59 & was wondering where to look for the "not so obvious" rust problems.

This one looks reasonably solid but has the typical rear wheel house &  trunk drop soft spots.

Where do the floors start to go & is there rear body mount problems like the 63/64's?

It's a 2 dr. hardtop & was wondering if anybody has bought a windshield lately? (and what they paid)

windsheilds are about $600. Look in the trunk at each side because there is two hoses that go from the back window area and are suppose to take water though the trunk and to the ground and I bet there not there anymore. Before you buy it try to find replacement (or close to) panels for it. I have not found anybody who sells them but I really dident look too hard as I dident need any (i was lucky!) Is it an american or canadian poncho?

 Well,it's umm....,er,,,,,,, not a Pontiac actually.

Haven't found a decent affordable Parisienne,so I'm looking at a Chevvy.

I figure they would have the same fe02 problems.

Can you post a picture of those drain ducts?

The Chevytalk forum is really excellent for member info as well-I love the 59 Chev's...almost as much as the Pontiacs!
