I'd like to go drag racing! A CP member gave me a deal I couldn't resist. I have a bad pinion bearing and since I have to pull the gears out to replace it....
It shouldn't be too crazy with the 4 speed..

Face it, we've all been wussified by overdrive. I remember driving from Fredericton to Pennfield Dragway in a 69 Chevelle convertible, 327 4 speed , and 4:56's turning 25" tall wide Cat 60's. 30-35 mph @ 3500 RPM. Took us forever to get there...( But what acceleration !

Luxury! Our gears were so stiff we used to have to get out and push to get up to 15 mph. We would use 20 gallons of gas every mile and that was downhill with a tail wind (not really, but I couldn't help but be reminded of a certain Monty Python skit). Ahh but we were happy then...
Yes, but don't forget this is a 4 speed.. It won't be as nasty as a 3 speed auto (I hope). If not, I'll throw a 6 speed in.. (I wish).
Well, my Rag with the 4-speed, warner now muncie, with a 3:31 diff and 235/75R15 rubber spins over at 2800rpm @100kms....... Yours will be higher for sure.
(lol) That is what I thought about my car too while I was in Labrador.... Then I drove it from Sept. Iles, Quebec to Saskatchewan... I am sure there will be a time when you will want to do the same thing..........
Just bumping guys I have alot of intrest in the car but the funny thing a few guys from the TO area are offering me exactly what I paid! Dont forget my shipping cost plus all the parts I bought from a member, plus I have the complete 67 for parts I want the car gone but I dont need to give it away!
