Anyone want to buy a long block 396? Steel crank 325hp intake to pan/no balancer. I can deliver from Calgary to Vancouver Island. I want $950.00 for it. It appears original. I have not removed the heads. It has sat inside for years and may have a stuck valve from sitting. One piston has broken off some of the piston area at the oil ring. A few aluminum pieces showed in the pan. The engine does turn over but stops with valve. I can have heads removed for inspect. I am gathering monies for a project sitting waiting to be done.
Boy, my neighbour blew up the 396 in his butternut SD. I will check with him. I think he found parts already but that would be exactly what he needs if not.
