i dont remember how to tune a rochester quad. too well and im haveing problems when i put it into gear its want to bog out and die on me. i dont remember how to fix that.
Does it die out when you put it in gear with your foot on the brake or only if you put it in gear and attempt to accelerate? If it only bogs when you try to accelerate, maybe it's time for an accelerator pump. Has the carb been sitting on a shelf for quite a while before you put it on?

it bogs out when i have my foot on the brake and put it in gear. What tool do you use to turn the mixture needles? I thought they were blade screws but this carb isnt like that. thanks guys
It's not uncommon to have the mix screws with a sort of flat square end on them that takes a special tool to fit. I just remove the screws and file or hacksaw a small slot in the end and then you can use a small flat blade screwdriver.
