ahhhhhh,,, sorry for the delay !! but ..it will have to wait till daylight !

I spent the whole day at my parents farm cleaning up after we got a nasty storm !! 9 trees across their road, and not twigs !!! I have pics of the mess! I keep my parts cars at the farm ,, I lost a 74 Ventura 2 dr ( 16" spruce right down the middle !!!), the parts car for the 36 Chevy coupe I bought last year , and a 50 chevy 1/2 ton, but that is the worst !

I'll need to spend a full day with the bobcat and chainsaw to clean up the mess ....

Very lucky !!!! had the storm moved through 400 ft south ,, my parents most likely would not have a roof !!!!

all my good stuff inside is OK,, a 16" Popular feel length wise and scrubbed the back of the shed where I have my 63 Acadian hardtop and the 68 Beaumont SD....way too close !!

SOOOOOO....pics of my new ice cream car tomorrow !!

OK, I gave it a quick scrub after my Dad and I broke the law and drove it around the block insurance-less !!

honest comments,, the colour really screams 80's ..you Won't hurt my feelings !!!!

someone went through a lot of trouble, the interior was donated from a 64 Custom Sport Convertible. strong running 350 and T350. Very amateur attempt at a resto. Homemade 1/4's and rockers,  the pans have been fixed , the car is actually pretty solid and tight when you drive it. new dual exhaust , near new tires and 15 x 8 chrome reverse wheels... it just needs that week of fixing the little things .....

AS for the colour??  what should I do with it??  some have already suggested that I 'FLAT BLACK IT'    suggestions appreciated !!

they destroyed the back bumper pulling it out of the snow bank, when they were taking it in for the trade off to the guy I just bought it from !  He was going to part it out , but figured it was still too good a car.

I didn't need it , but was really craving a drop top,, and the price was right !!!!!

What do you all think the value of this car is it's current state should be?

now I'm regretting selling all the 64 stuff ove the last 2 years....but I'll hunt for more !  Luckily , the storm didn't get any of my 64 stuff at the farm.....

Drive it for a while and have fun with it. Then decide what you want to do with it.

That looks like a very solid base to start.Colour-Flat black would look tuff with those "chromies", but your pick. Cool car, another saved from parts!

That car basically defines "Hobby Car" to me. Colour is nice imo, car was cheap and it runs nice and is licensed, what else do you need ?

Man, there is a lot going on with that car! The more I look at it, the more I see! Is that a rear quarter antenna? It is also a "blue block" 350. I would paint it dark navy and call it "black & blue". I need a rear bumper also.cry

What I said above is not meant to be an insult, There was a lot done to the car using some good parts. It's cool. thumbsup.gif

enjoy it. Not everyone makes big $ at their job and that is probably more than most can afford. Who cares what people think? If you like it, its all that matters. I take my car to cruise night and enjoy it and could care or less what others think. Some like it, some dont. What is junk or crap to some is another mans pride and joy. I wil never ever be able to afford show quality cars. Thats A OK with me. I get the least bit offended if someone spent 25k on a car parked next to mine and he thinks mine is junk. He doesnt walk in my shoes so how would they know what we deal with in life? Id be proud to own and drive that beast! enjoy it. Congrats!

Love the droptop 1964, had one back in Debden but a bench seat, love the buckets and console, I would drive that car lots and lots (always had a soft spot for the 64)

I like it

If your daughter likes it

let her drive it

AS IS

the memories she creates in it are worth the price of the car...

Skip the flat black. thats a little overdone. I know it hides bondo waves, but why not drive and enjoy it the way it looks? It's a convertible, it's July, enuff said!

Way to go Rog!  Nothing beats a cruise in a comfy full size on a summer day. I still regret selling my rag every day there's no snow on the ground. As for your car colour, I think it will go perfect with a loud Hawiian shirt eh, am I right?
