69 Beaumont project delayed

Been going through a divorce so I haven't done anything to the Beaumont in a couple years. Did the body and paint 2 years ago and have been at a standstill since. Seriously thought of selling it but decided I wanted to finish it. It cost me an additional $7500 to buy out my half which is close to what I paid for it originally. I'm into this car for over $20000 and it's not close to being complete. Hoping the settlement is finalized this week and I can start working on the car again.

The car is too nice, and you are in too deep to give up now! Sorry to hear about the split. At least you were able to keep the car!

Thanks guys. I have a new girl and she has been fantastic. She knows I am getting anxious to start working on the car so she was nice enough to order me the new carpet and underlay for the car which is supposed to be here tomorrow. Thanks turn2stone for posting those pics. forgot I had posted them here. I'm gonna have to get a few shots of the car. I don't have any pics of the car. I guess those were included in the settlement.

I have had badluck with this car. Parking the car on the driveway due the fact I do not have a garage has caused me nothing but grief. A wind storm lastnight did a bit of damage to the car from branches that blew off the trees in my back yard. The hood, roof and right quarter got damaged and will need repainting. This is the 2nd time the car has been damaged in a windstorm. Thank god the house I just bought has a garage. So in 2 weeks I shouldn't have to worry everytime a storm hits.

And I'm still not done this car. I put it on hold for quite a while. Infact I hadn't had it running for a few years. I even considered just selling it. But I got it running this past summer and actually drove it quite a bit. Had to replace tires, starter, fuel pump, headers and exhaust. I decided it's time to finish it. Only the interior is left. I recently installed the carpet and rebuilt the seats. Headliner and door panels left to finish it. And im replacing the rear glass. However I will likely continue doing things to the car. Atleast I can see the finish line now.

Thank you.
The project was on delay while going through separation number two. But I'm hoping to finish before it happens again.
I will post more pics of the car on the site.

I gotta say, I don't know how you guys can afford to do these restorations. My car isn't a full restoration and I'm into it for 30k. And I have done most of the work myself.
