First is another fellow 66 Grande owner named Les from Victoria, he is the original owner of this 4 door. Factory 327, 2spd car.Him and his son inlaw gave her a paint job a few years back and they tackled the Vinyl roof and did a great job!! The second car is owned by a Lady in Nanoose bay...she is the Original owner of this 396 ,3 spd ,1967 ,2+2. It was her Arizona car for many years and just last year she brought the car back to Canada and her son helped her with the restoration. Original Purple she says!! I also threw in a Pic of Les's front end with my car in the distant background. and, a cool pontiac hood ornament at the show as well
Well I am bias.. but your right..there is no other more beautiful dash!!....and grill...and tail light panel..and quarters...and well.... the whole car!!!!

I think that the 4-dr owned by Les is the one I posted a while back when I saw it at a local hotel. I figured it was someone from out of town visiting here and I asked the members if they recognized it and no one replied. I guess now I know, lol.....
I was told that the American engineers copied the GP tail lights for the GTO. The front signal lights are identical too. I am biased to as I think the 66 Grandes were the best to date Pontiac design.

(lol) Maybe I should have said, "with the '66 being a close second"........ Sometimes what a person types is not what the person is thinking or intended at the time!
Oh, you mean me........ Once I get as old as you '66 guys, my opinion may change......... Most likely not, though!!! (lol)

(snicker, snicker) Carl, I believe you are on your own with this one.. Rumour has it that I am cahouts with most of them and I am sure they will side with me!!
69laurentian--Looking for fenders for a friends '36-ish Dodge p/u
73SC--Helped him with his ignition problem on one of his Caddys (Is it OK, Ray?)
68sd--What can I say.. I keep him busy with data tags. (You may have better luck talking with fredswife because of that, though!)
So, I may add a snippet to this thread here and there in the future.... Keep tuned!!!

Vince can stay, Fleetwood runs like a top after advice from 67Poncho.
By the way my favourite year is 1965 so 66 and 67 can take a back seat to a 1965 Custom Sport any day
That may be, but read my signature. Has he stayed at your house?
Maybe!!! If I find his fenders, he will have to come and get them or make arrangements which should be considered the same thing??? No???
And, that's another beef I have with you, I visited your house but you never noted that in your signature.. No, don't bother now, too late, it's OK!!!! ----
I always have my dash set in miles but seems to me in km we are around 255,000 km. Still a real nice driving car. Son is now passed 6'3" and headed for 6'4" it looks like. He still has lots of room in the back and my wife and I never move the front seats---they are always pushed all the way back.
We took my wife's sister to the lake last week. She rode in the back of the Caddy. She didn't think anything of it until her friends arrived to take her back home in their 2011 Camry (160 miles). She is about 5'10" and has plenty of health issues. She had to get out and walk around when they stopped for gas about 1/2 way home because she said it was so uncomfortable for her in the Toyota she wasn't sure how she could make it the rest of the way home!
