Wanted stock 396 or 454 complete running engine

I am looking for a complete stock running 396 or 454 engine. Not looking for hp just a low hp stock chevy Big Block. Could be a 454 low hp truck motor....just looking for a cheap good running motor that doesn't burn oil.

I'm going to take my Rehr Morrison 565 out of my Chevelle and stuff a low hp cheap BB  in it. I can still get good money for my 68 Chevelle with a 250 hp bb and not take a bath on my 565 engine.

This would be a nice motor but I'm looking for a bone stock cheap motor. I'm trying to keep my costs down and the buyers of cars now just want cheap and drivable. I'm finding no one wants to pay for quality anymore.

Man, I have a 3/4 ton 1976 Chevy that had a factory 454 but now has a newer GM Goodwrench 454 with a rebuilt diff and TH 400. The other cool thing about the truck is it has factory buckets, console and factory tach. All for $1200!! Unfortunately I live on the far west coast.

Wow that would have been perfect. Is the truck drivable? Would it make it to Ontario? I could use the tranny, motor and even take out my dana 60 and ladder bar set up and replace the rear end on my car.
