62 interior


Does anyone have pictures of bucket seats out of a 62 parisienne convertable . I am redoing seats that where done wrong and want to do them original Bryan

There's a pretty good chance that your seats are NOT original to your car.

Can't say for sure,but buckets may not have even been available on Canadian Pontiacs that year. (I don't recall seeing any factory installed ones myself)

They had them I had a new 62 with buckets and a bright red interior and I found another one but seats had been recoverd not to original .

That is correct. 1962 Parisienne 2 door hardtops and Convertibles were available with the bucket seat option. The Canadian built 62 Impalas were also available this way, as there was no "SS" option in Canada until 1963.

 That looks like a Bonneville interior shot.

 Seat upholstery appears to be leather not vinyl & it looks like dash has woodgrain trim.

LOTS of stuff DIFFERENT (not available) on US vs. Canadian 62's.
