Beaumont Convertible

Found this on hwy 97 on my way from Kamloops to Vernon along with a bunch of other cars. Asked if I could take pics and the owner told me they were all for sale too. Never asked for a price but I have a pic of the sign with ph number.

That is a great find Leo ... it looks very complete. I'm sure someone on here is going to want that phone #!

Just visiting BC from the east coast?

Yea I was over there for 3 weeks on holidays, lots of old cars around not like the east coast. It was to bad the car was left that way and in the grass to but the body didn't look to bad.

These are cars from Mike's Restos from up by Chase. His site has been shown on here numerous times. He has another property with some more exposure and he has brought some of his cars over there. Paul (65sssd) picked up a car from him last fall and I happened to stop in at the time he was heading out with it. Mike is a character and he has a ton of cars.

Are these cars parked behind a 50's diner and bodyshop in the town of Westwold?

Yeah, that is the spot.  Sort of makes Westwold an interesting spot to drive through.

Last I heard it was between 8-10 grand. That's why it's still there. He might take 5K but he's been known to stick to his pricing.

Hi Leo...you bet! ...First time I've entered her in the Watkin Motors Show @ Polson Park.  Too bad we didn't meet each other...I was hardly near my car all afternoon.

Cheers!

Kyle

I told you I have two 65 vert SD's with solid frames here that I might part with at some time. I made that offer before to you. Who knows what lurks under that Custom rag because it hasn't had the top up or been covered for over 20 years. I think I have some trunk pictures of it somewhere.

Hopefully you find what your looking for. Pretty soon everybody will be driving 65 Beaumont rags in my family if nobody buys them.

Rather than us spending our time for nothing what are you looking for and how much? Mine are all stripped out so there's nothing to hide. Both have solid floors but need a trunk. I have everything but Sd rocker chrome for each one. I will take pictures of mine but I won't sell them for less than the parts are worth. The same deal as always. You can ask Kelly what he thinks.

Next time I'm back in AB I'll make a point of taking some pics. body is off of frame, frame is blasted and cleaned, but sat exposed to open air for the past 6 years.. so it's covered with surface oxide.. etc.. etc.. project..
