I am going to need a new gas tank for my '69 Beaumont with all the repo Chevelle sites out there, which company is my best resource? I would like to deal with a Canadian company, I've dealt with Summit for little things & really didn't like their shipping costs & policy. I really prefer to do my shopping online. Any help would be appreciated!
I replaced the fuel tank on my 69 chevelle with a Canadian made tank called Spectra Premium. It is Canadian made but only sold in the U S. I bought it from Rock Auto.com for about $109. plus $30 shipping to the border. My local car quest store quoted me $480. for the same one. I also bought one for my 66 and both are good quality. Hope this helps. Stan
I am able to get Spectra tanks from our local jobber store in Manitoba. With a few calls you certainly should be able to find a Canadian source. And yes, I'm told the Spectras are the best repro tank out there.
