well im trying to fit my new upper valance but my wipers won't come free and i can't figure it out lol... ( i can remove a body but wipers are tooo hard.....) also the door cranks for the windows! no idea on those
Go to your auto parts store and spend seven bucks for the wiper arm removal/install tool; pops them off and on in seconds, with no scratches or flying wiper arms. K-D and Lisle both make them.
. Simple, actually. There is a little clip that holds the crank on. All you have to do is take a small screw driver and pry the little clip from it's hold. They sell a special tool for that but I've always carefully slid the clip off with a small screwdriver and it's always worked fine. Gently push the panel in so you can see the clip and see what you are doing.
Here's a picture of a clip to help you understand.
Hope this helps.
HM... I forgot to mention, after you remove the screws the panel is held in around the bottom half with little plastic clips... just pull straight out and they will pop out. Might want to remove the hardware before gently pulling out the bottom part of the panel with the clips... then you can just slide it all up and out.

If I order one, will you double the order*
*(as long as I pay separate shipping and handling charges).
I got the "Baby Bullet" and "Slap Chop" this way!

Jonathan for the wiper arm to be removed you have to pull up on the blade and pull the clip out where the arm goes on the post to lock it in the up position. Then wriggle it off. A little hard to describe but i cant do a video right now.Hope this helps.

Johnathan the nags # for that windshield in your car is 660. I had a new windshield put in my car when I restored it and made it 30 K. to 3 Hills cruise night , on the way back got a boulder from a gravel truck right in the center. That was not a good day.
a little update... the wipers are ....... STILL ON OMG i can't figure it out ive been climbing into the car and around trying to see this clips but soo far i see nothing at all..... and thanks for the tip on the windshield... im going to need one soon =)
to bad you are so far out i have my own glass shop id put a winshield in properly, the wiper arms might be frozen on its pot metal and in your guys climate, dont fret, plastic malet and the aplication of heat with a heat gun does the trick to unstick the worst arms. if you want ill give the name of the proper urathane to use for a new windscreen, and the technique so it looks factory (dont use butyl)
