Long time since they built a bumper strong enough to mount a hitch on it.
My Dad had one of those hitches on his '65 Belair. Ugly, but would still haul his "dump" trailer. It used longer/stronger center bumper bolts and bolted through the bumper extensions. Brings back good memories of going to the dump!

300 Saratoga is a Canadian only model. My 72 Imperial has a bumper mounted trailer hitch. I remember those cars pulling 28 ft Airstream trailers across the continent apparently no problem.
