Hello from Calgary

Hey guys, I'm new here and from Calgary. I don't have a Canadian Pontiac at the moment but my step Dad does so I'm trying to learn more about it and help him get it back on the road. smile

Thanks guys,

I'll try and get some pics but it's a pretty basic car which was typical back in the day from that part of the country(rural Manitoba). It's a 60 Laurentian 4dr sedan, NO options what so ever but is a nice raspberry color with that awesome red Pontiac interior. The car has had some rust repair years ago so one repaint but it still has the original interior that shows very well with only 83k miles.

Hmmm I just has a thought, would a 1970 GTO be considered a Canadian Pontiac IF it was built in Oshawa? I know the drive train is pure American Pontiac but I'm just currious.... :)

What would be the US equivelant to the Laurentian?

Welcome aboard. Any Canadian built Pontiac is considered a Canadian Pontiac.

The US counterpart to the Laurentian in 1960 would be (in my opinion) the Catalina.

Thanks and cool! If that's the case then I guess I have two Canadian Pontiacs, a Palisade Green 70 Judge and Black 70 Judge(both projects at this time).
