Looking for somebody who sells larger molding clips!!

I am looking for a 3 1/2" butterfly spring clip that is either a blind clip or a bolt on clip for  65 Beaumont Rocker molding. Any ideas because the biggest I could find was 2 3/4" and the molding itself is 3" so it wouldn't work. Thanks in advance, Paul.

Auveco has almost everything like that. Do you have a dealer there?

I don't see one in there but I see in the Beaumont parts book they are not all the same along the side.

Do you have the part numbers or do you need them?

I have a assortment of originals but I want to use a more current modern one. I don't have the 20 blind clips and 4 bolt on clips to complete the installation of one set of rocker trim. I am saving the original ones for the cars I have that are using that hardware already. I checked that catalog and it was the same as the one my local parts store showed me and the biggest was 2 17/34". I don't know where else to look.

Paul, go to www.bsfco.com and go to page 26 of the PDF file. Part number 2278 is OEM number 4487924 which is one of the two OEM numbers in the Beaumont book.

Does that make sense?

Holy moly it even says rocker panel molding on it. 2278 is the blind clip so I wonder if they have the bolt on one?

I'm having trouble finding that number. I'll be away from here for a bit. Back later and I'll keep looking.

Looks like the 2267 might work if it's wide enough.

Can't find the outer ones listed. I may have to try the assembly manual microfiche but that will likely be a different night.

So Carl did you find that part number for the bolt on door clips for a 65 Sd Beaumont rocker chrome?

No, I struck out. The assembly manual has no more information than the parts book.

I ordered the butterfly clips from bsfco and they found a 4 inch bolt on style that I will cut down. It seems the 2 1/2 inch is the biggist I found in Canada in either style. I can't wait to get them so I can put the rocker trim on the the blue SD rag. It's coming along nicely now. I only wish I could find a nicer drivers front fender rocker chrome SD piece because the one I have was in a accident. No luck yet.
