If memory serves me right, this car came out of the Ottawa Valley. For the past number of years its been in the hands of a collector in Kirkland lake. The description is accurate. It truely is that low mileage.
Navan is a suburb of Ottawa about 15 minutes from where I live.
Rheal Larose is selling this car and a '40s Cadillac - looks like some estate type situation because I don't think they are his. Kirkland Lake is his home town.
Saw this ad on Kijiji last night, good catch on the blue dots Todd!
BLUE DOTS another thing the cops were giving out tickets for this past season, they are 'illegal" in Ontario!!!!! I didn't know that till a few owners got "dinged"

You're bang on with who is brokering the cars. But its not an estate sale just a reducing collection. The Cadillac must be a 42.

Sorry to go off topic. Pete there is a section of the Highway Traffic Act which they must be applying. I do not believe blue dots in themselves are illegal, there is no way a law would be written for that, however, the HTA only permits Police vehicles to display red and blue flashing lights from the front and/or rear of a vehicle. This is a big stretch but obviously a way to hassle the hobbyists and must be the section they are citing on.
Until yesterday I had an NOS set of '59 taillight lenses in boxes but they got snapped up at the swap meet I was at. Still have four '58's.
Apparently the cops are sayimg that the tail& stop light "MUST" be RED & the blue dots give off a Purple [ish] pink light, therefore "illegal" by HTA ????? Just another excuse to "ding" the hobbist & get some more $$$ & appear to be doing something for the "GOOD" of safe roads!!!!!! IMO How come??? they only seem to go after the regular vehicles for "safety checks " on the holiday wknds.

THE HTA says you must have one, yes one brake light red in colour on the outside edge of the car, so I suyppose that is the section you refer to. Complete BS.
... just put black elecrical tape (cut nicely of course) over the blue dots.
