Could anyone please tell me if the metal emblems for the trunk lid, and probably the dash, are the same for the 1969 model. I realize that the back emblems go in a slightly different place. Just hoping to buy some reproduction emblems. I see that they are for sale. Trying to trim out my 1969.
Thank you for the welcome, and for the information.l I will definitely purchase the SD emblems. I hope that my car will be done by spring. I am having the body professionally resotored as that is a bit outside of my abilitly level. I will post pics when possible. I did not know that the rear panel with the back up lights was to be the same colour as the side stripe, so that I is a very important piece of info for me.

It looks like Bill answered your question already with regards to the rear emblem. You will have to keep us posted with progress pictures. There is probably a picture of you car on the site already from Tillsonburg.

Thanks again. I got my emblem in the mail. It was from Dale at Dale's Muscle. As I don't expect to see any more SD 396 Beaus at car shows this time of year, I will be using 68sd's photos for reference. The body, trim etc. are going to be professionally done over the winter ( Great Lakes Resto ), and I will do the drivetrain and interior myself. Hope it would be done by spring. I will get back to you with pics at some time.
