The 69 Butternut Yellow with white painted top and red interior car that has been talked about on here a couple times in listed on Ebay. It's at a used car dealership in the Chicago Il area. Any guesses at to what the bidding will end at? I say around $7500.
Hmmm... I was trying to remember the details on this car, so I re-read a couple of old threads on this car, it is a unique example for sure, and it would be cool to see it come back to its home country...
From this thread, it looks like it was bought for $8600 back in 2006:
From this CP thread, looks like it went to a dealer (the current ebay seller) who was asking $15,900 at one point, then Carl of 427 fame had it down to $11K:
As I type this, it has only been bid up to $3550 but there's still 4 days left...
What would be a fair price to pay for this car in today's market? I'm wondering if the colour combo, although rare and interesting, might turn off some potential buyers...
From my way of thinking, anything south of $10K would be a good deal, but let's see what the market bears.
Would love to see somebody from CP bring it back home...
If I bought a car from this era with pinstriping like that, it would be the first thing to come off. It suites some cars, but not this one.

If you contact the seller directly, they might change the stipulations to let you bid on it. It might be a default setting that they never thought to change when they started it up. In the past I've bought items that said US bidders only after I asked the seller if they would sell to Canada.
