Diesel Locomotive for sale

This "Crown Assets" website is a good place to find bargains.....especially if you have helpful friends on both coasts. It is a site where the Canadian government disposes its unneeded assets. There are 100 cars with less than 50km on them.....gotta be crash testing. Can someone pick this up for me if I win? (200000 lbs)

Tom, now you're thinking BIG!

I used to work for Crown Assets in Mississauga (7 years), there were a ton of great cars, trucks, boats, sleds, & other stuff that we sold. I have a million stories!

Wonder if this is HO scale and if not, are separate trucks (wheel sets) available???

Sorry, but it's likely a big block so I'm going to bid on it and part it out if I get it!

Used to handle all the repair parts for those. You should see how big the blower is and has pistons the size of end tables.

There's a small branch line railway that goes through town. They have some pretty beat up locomotives they must buy at such sales. They do one helluva job reconditioning them.

funny this came up. Three weeks ago going by one of Hamilton`s train yards I seen 4 brand new locomotives hooked to two old ones and a bunch of cars . I can`t remember in my life seeing one new one and there were four all together.

Imagine "firing that up in back yard & "layin" on the horn!!!! Just ask your new neighbour if he wants a train next door or the cars & trailers??? That'll shut him up!!!!

I checked on him and the feedback is wonderful

Apparantly the guy is a car crazy fellow in Ontario  (outside of Toronto)

I think he shrinks regular size trains down, in his garage
