Nice looking car but it has a lot of things that have been changed. The car was originally green with parchment top and interior. The POP shown in the picture is not the correct one for the car. The car was built in November and the POP is dated August. It's missing the SD stripes and trim. The SD trim is VERY tough to find and will cost well into 4 figures if you do find it. There are a lot of engine modifications. The ad says matching numbers but I would have to see the engine pad to verify that. Not worth $35K, in my opinion.

Could have been a "DEMO"then sold later??? Protech O Plate has that "punch tape" on it where as the one for my 2+2 is punched out "all in tin" with orginal owners name. Just a thought!! [Ouch that hurt doing that, I'll have to quit that]

I've found protech O plate 's done the same way with punch tape,  not all dealers would have had a stamping machine , hence the punch tape....

I'm sorry but the Blue on black was a nice change from the skunky green. I can see why the owner changed it. It would need to have all it's trim to be in that price range. It has the Cheetah options but it's not a 4spd. Weird? I wonder if the original suffix is on the motor?

So this car is still listed for sale ( http://alberta.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-classic-cars-1968-Beaumont-396-SD-W0QQAdIdZ381221449 ) and I considering purchasing the car. What do you think the dollar value (market, sale) is on this car as it sits? What is the most you would pay for it if you had the money sitting around? Any input would be greatly appreciated, pick it to pieces all you want. I want to get it for a good buy or I am not interseted.

The previous owner of YOUR  396 4 speed Parisienne had a appraisial for 28,000.00  as well   Remember?

look at the selling price of your car

His car (Beaumont) may be worth more as a  A body

18-20 is what its worth on the market

any more is how badly you want it......wink

I'm not sure I've seen them on 70 Chevelles,I agree the Green 68 is a beauty,I happen to like the green, but I really don't care for the exhaust tips, they just look odd.
