Well that is funny. I was out cruising today but was on the other side of the lake. I go by that winery every day on my way to the job site. They had an evening there for Beaumont owners last year when some guys arranged it from the Island. I went and it was fun. The owner is a character. I have a couple empty Beaumont wine bottles in my garage.

I had my beast out for probably the last drive. Sunday is supposed to rain. Tomorrow I'll put the cover over it and hope for an early spring.

I heard that the owner sings and plays the six string and is hoot. I think the car sits a little to high in the back about three inches and now that the new posi 373 gears are in I get alot of wheel hop ...But oh the power is so nice I am truly enjoying the StreetMachine.
I am hoping to take it out for grocery shopping today.

I don't think any of my cars will see any further use this season. No snow here but we've had a couple of below zero nights with precip and the authorities have been very liberal in their use of road salt. So I think I'm done for the year.

I had the same problem with my 69. I decided to lower the rear before I broke something important...It wasn't a good feeling either when it started to wheel hop in 3rd gear and started going sideways for the ditch.

I took out the air shocks I was using for wheel clearance. I used the stock spec rear spring in my car.

The real problem when you raise the rear of the car is the rear suspension geometry. There are several ways to remedy that problem if you choose to go that way.

The fellow who had it for 30 odd years raised it and put the big fat tires on the back. I do like the look but im trying to go closer to stock.
