66 Pontiac reverb pictures

I was speaking to 66GrandeGuy on the phone and he was asking how a reverb looks for a car like our's. Rather than just email pictures, I told him I'd post here in case other's are looking.

Installation is pretty easy. Basically, unplug the black flat connector (as shown in the pics) from the back of the radio. There is a couple more connections if you have a factory rear speaker.

Plug the connector ( shown) into the back of the radio. Plug in the connector that was in the radio in to the other black connector (shown).

The three strand red/black/green wire goes under the carpet to the trunk where the reverb is mounted (bracket not shown)

67 unit is the same except the round switch, I had a couple over the years.  68 is totally different though.

Good point, forgot the signature....! Thanks Vince.

No, different number Ken. However, I am thinking the guts are identical. If I recall, the connector is different maybe?

That Caprice one must be rare. The Pontiac units seem to be a lot more common.

I've tossed more than a few chrome handheld spotlights over the years 'cause I didn't realize they were a GM accessory...thought they looked like a cheap piece of something or other.
