Well....here she is

After a year of almost nightly and every weekend thrashing on it mechanic wise,...Elvira is on the road.

Still has the original straight 8 and three on the tree. 71,000 orig miles.

Beauty! Blood sweat and tears pay off, eh?

I see you got the fendere skirtrs to fit, they do add nicely to the car's look, I think.

Are you a Goth per chance? wink.gif

There is a guy in my neighborhood that has both a 1959 & 1970 Cadillac hearse. He is a musician and no doubt finds them very handy. The problem was when he first got one he ended up having to extend his garage.

I concur with the others, the patina is great.

I have to keep looking back at this one I love they way the car looks. I some times regret painting my wagon and makeing it all shiny. Cars like this are so easy to care for wash and dry maybe if you feel like it.

I'm liking Elvira!

I'm leaving my car's "patina" also. Just going to blow-in a few places, and maybe just a semi gloss clear coat over it.

Thats funny Vern, I keep doing the same thing. Just grabed the pic for my files. Would be neet to see Elvira standing next to it.

When ever my time comes, that would be a cool hearse to use for my last ride.  There is something just so cool about that car.
