power vs manual brake switch location and return spring

Removing power brakes and installing manual ones on a 67.

Here is the issue,

#1

no return spring for the brake pedal under the dash,  but now with non-power,  there should be. I have drawn where i think it should go??????

#2

Also,  the brake light switch is in a different position, note the extra holes.

What do you manual brake cars look like compared to these photos of my Power brake car?  see photo #2

The manual does not clearly show these 2 areas

Boy, the Beaus are sure different than the full size Pontiacs.. We just have a sleeve on the left side of the pedal with a round shaped spring that hooks into the bracket!

Sorry I can't help but interesting to see!!

OK,  now i have found out something i did not know

1967 beaumonts use the same dash brace and pedal as the GTO/tempest

1967 chevelles are totally different under the dash.

Now i need to see an assembly manual for a 1967 tempest/lemans pedal setup

The pedal set up on a 67 beaumont gets interesting. I converted my 67 to a 4 speed set up. I had an origanal 4 speed car to copy (my dad's) The manual trans pedals are not GTO or Chevelle. I found a Buick set 68 or 69 I think that was correct. Do you have a parts manual?

No i dont have a parts manual for GTO,  just chevelle, but it is different.

I also saw a exploded view online for a GTO,  but it was actually a chevelle one,  so i hate to buy a 30 dollar manual, to find it has a Chevelle drawing as reference.

Send me your e-mail and I will try to send you a picture I took on my iPhone. From the Beaumont service manual. I can't post pictures from my phone to the forum?
Chad.

Thanks chader,  but i have the one from the 67 beaumont service manual.

It shows the chevelle setup instead!  hilarious,  must have been an oversight when they printed it.  Took me awile to figure it out,  then i realized it was the wrong picture all together.

Thats why i need the Tempest service manual pic
