New to the Canadian Poncho

confuseHi all;  I have been lurking around this site from time to time and enjoy all the discussion, pictures and info on the Canadian Pontiacs.

 

I have been a Pontiac man for most of my life. Spent from 1982-2004 working in Pontiac, Buick, GMC dealers in various positions. Of the 24 cars I have owned 9 have been Pontiacs.  My first was a 1969 either Laurentian or Strato Chief 2dr ht.  Had a 65 Beaumont for a while. 77 LeManns, 4dr, 77 Parisienne 2dr, 81 Phoenix (and I admit it) '61 strato chief, 4dr sedan, 04 Gr Prix, 05 Pursuit, and now my favourite a 1969 Parisienne Convertible.

I purchased the '69 in Regina this fall.  Drove it home to Brandon, top down all the way, with a grin on my face as wide as the grill!  Was basically a one owner, factory ordered and just went over the 100,000 miles.  All the papers, records are with it as well as a '69 sales brochure.

I noticed  it is in your registry as spotted in Regina on Kijiji.

Looking forward to being at some shows in the summer.

Welcome for sure....plus a Merry Christmas.

 

I sat in The Walmart parking lot of southside Regina a few years ago, waiting on The Girl Friend while she shopped. I noticed a great deal of "Older Dudes" coming and going in various land barges. I thought that Regina has a wealth of 1 owner rides, mostly well maintained. Your car is the perfect example. Good eye, excellent buy, and congratulations!
