This original 18000km Coupe, has a fresh rebuilt 305CI engine, has a mild cam for extra torque, and still gets around a respectful 25mpg, has a 3spd AT tranny, PS,PB,PW, AM/FM radio, AC(works but could use a recharge), very well maintained, don't have the parking space for it any longer, so, would like it gone within a couple of weeks. Needs TLC, has brand new Michelin X-Ice snow tires, rear defrost, fulle serviced and ready for winter if so desired, has new Glass Pack muffler, exhaust is in great shape, come take a look, a great driver or show car when fixed up, parts are very easy to get for it. Has very comfy cloth interior, very good condition. Asking $1800 OBO.
Steal of a deal if that's the true mileage. ( Why would it need a fresh rebilt 305 after only 18k?)
Soft cams. The early 305 & 267 had improperly hardened cams.
Neat 81. That was the last year of the Big Pontiacs except for the Canadian Caprice / Parisienne hybrid. 2-door big cars were also vanishing after 1981.

yep, cam went out of my 267. Had a heck of a time getting the old lifters out when I swapped it out
wow.....Id drive that....I had an 85 4dr that was a lil ole ladies car. It had only 110 km on it because at 100 she got snow packed in the grill and grenaded the motor so she had a dealer crate motor put in it....perhaps similar story? Beautiful car. Never saw a 2 dr before. Might be a gutless pig but who cares.

Really looks like its in good shape. Got a soft spot after all my first car was an 81 2dr.
Get after that one Randy. If it's half as good as it looks it's a great deal.
I can't get up there to see it. Right now i'm just biding my time, paying on debts and waiting for the right tie to be able to get something decent and a bit older. Sure is nice looking though.
