car is in Normandy, so I left at 5.00 AM and by 12.30 I was there, tried the car and took some time to chit chat with the owner..

 Ouch!!!

What is a ballpark estimate on shipping a car from Ontario?

I bet with that trunk not sealing properly, the inside turns into a swimming pool. It must have been a Unione Corse (French Mafia) car for the trunk to get like that.biggrin

Love the side mirrors and master cylinder.

Did you ever get more info. on the french hearse Jean?

Hi Darryl,

I am not into hearses, but I can call if someone has specific questions...

I'm not a hearse person myself, but it issuch a unique-looking vehicle compared to hearses here. It's definately more sinister.

Being a '64 fan, I was just curious about the trim tag info. and if it has any identifying nameplate/s to tell where the hearse conversion was done.

The french Impala has a cool trim tag. I wonder what other subtle differences it has?

Johnnee, whats that in Cdn. dollars?? At 1st. look car looks decent,BUT when you start adding up what it needs & what you WANT to do, could get a "little" out of hand [maybe] You said it was well equipt whats it got, windows, seats tilt etc. Didn't see any A/C under the hood.
