My Dad had the same car!  In 1938 after I was born I was brought home from the hospital in the Willys!  My sister also came home from the hospital in 1946 in that rugged old car! Dad kept it thru the war years and sold it in 1947 for $100.00 more than he paid for it in 1937!  When I was only about 6 0r 7 Dad would let me shift the gears using the floor shifter! I can still remember it! Ah the memories these old cars can bring!!!!!  Bob.

Not sure why so many people need to put an apostrophe in Willys. The guy's name was Willys, pronounced 'Willis'.
