My Father-in-law had one. He paid $7,800 for it back in '78, fully loaded, White, White red guts. He'd close his restaurant on the Danforth in Toronto Sunday Morning at 1:30 am and let me drive him to his cottage to be with the family. I was 20 and not married to his daughter then. I thought I was king of the road wheeling the big Buick, I suspect the same way my son feels when I toss him the DTS keys now. Johnny always set the speed warning at 140, and inevitably I'd wake him up on my run up HWY 400.

I will refrain from saying anything about the subject car, but here's ours.

My opinion is that the particular Buick Electra Park Avenue I drove was a nicer car than my Cadillac Fleetwood and rode better than all of the Cadillacs I have owned including my late model DTS. With the car being an elegant white white exterior my wife and I were often asked to borrow the car and use it in friends weddings as the wedding party car.

Too long, over 18 ft...i'd have a foot of it out the garage :( I'll double check that measurement but i'm pretty sure i'm limited to 17. I don't have your standard sized garage.

A two foot extension to the garage could be done in an afternoon for the cost of two twenty four's.

Or, park it outside under a cover and get winter storage for it. I might have a spot for you next winter if my Firebird sells this summer.

Ray i haven't got the funds for any kind of garage reno. It would have to be extended at the back wall, with concrete poured to bring it up level too.

your shed definately is wider than my garage...and longer now! What was the length before you added that part on the front?

I parked the rear of my car against the back wall, and there was 4" to spare when I closed the doors. A '64 Parisienne is 213" (17 & 3/4 feet long). I added on 8 feet.

about the same length as my garage, a tad longer, not sure if that 64's nose wouldn't stick out of mine. When i had the Trans Am i had it up against the back wall and had about a foot in front if i was lucky.
