That is so true Pete.  I enjoy driving them more than working on them.  Some guys build cars and then sell. I like cars that are drivers that can be upgraded a little at a time.  Show cars and trailer queens are not my thingdisbelief

I did some research on prices and the '57's usually sell in the $85,000 range  in the condition shown, unless it was actually one of two owned by Frank Sinatra in which case it demands a little premium selling for over $100,000.

In my most humble opinion, this Caddy is probably the HOLY GRAIL of Cadillac. For me personally this is the ultimate Caddy and the one i would want over any other Caddy. That stainlesss steel roof, the rear doors, the special wheels, the sweet sweet styling, the fabulous interior. I LOVE THIS CAR. I have never seen one up close and in person, other than many photos. What a dream car. Cheers. George.

Ray,

 Have you ever seen an "El Morocco"? They were 57 Chevies modified in a Michigan warehouse to look like the Cadillac.

There was a great article in Collectible Automobile about them.
