65 Acadian hood latch photo

Doing this for a member here who wanted to compare a 65 Nova hood latch to a 65 Acadian hood latch. This is Acadian.

Is the latch assy silver from the factory? I see that on some Chevelles but not sure if that may be just a detailing tactic?

Does anyone have a 1965 Acadian hood latch for sale oe know of someone who may?  I am asking on behalf of an individual who recently purchased a 1965 Acadian but the hood latch is missing.

So the Acadian is different than the Nova?

Yes it is. It comes out overtop of the grille. I will keep looking for my Nova latch. The difference is obvious once you see them side by side.
