I see when looking at power window regulators, the 1/4 regulators are the same between 69 and 70. However, the front door regulators do not interchange. 69 has it's own number, 70 has it's own number. Does anyone know why, or if they actually will not interchange?
I believe there has been discussion here about door interchange but I can't recall that the window regulators were discussed.

i'm putting the 69 doors on my 70 and because they said there was differences i kept the old glass and regs. if no one peeps up i can take pics in the spring. right now everything is difficult to get at. mine are the manual versions.
I can tell you 69 vs 70 door sideglass in a 2 door HT is different. They have different mounting holes for the track mounting. Not sure about the 1/4 glass. Haven't compared the two. The GM numbers are different though.

The one thing that could stump the process here is that I'm looking at 70 USA glass (bonny). But I highly doubt any difference between 70 Cp and USA sideglass.

Carl, above you said the 69/70 1/4 window regulators are the same. What part # did you come up with? The set of rears I got from a 70 Impala have 8727480 & 8727481 painted on them, but those #'s don't show up in my parts books.
Often the part numbers on the regulators don't exist in the books. Then, out of the blue, you see a set of regulator numbers exactly as listed in the book. Go figure.
