hood latch assembly

can someone post a pic of a 1965 beaumont hood latch assembly please. The drop down safety catch on mine is too far back, it has a rubber end on it, and someone has tied a string around it to pull it open. does it have an extension handle or something?

thanks

You have the correct hood latch ass'y there, it even still has the rubber on the end, usually they have fallen off by now! Looking at the picture of your car, the bumper is pushed up in the centre and thats maybe why its hard to reach in and pull the handle, but alls well as far as the latch goes!. We have grills in a variety of condions, no eyebrow moldings and depending on what you need for body side moldings we may be able to help you with those??

Thanks for the info.. appreciated.

I'm good on the grill now, and the fender eyebrow...

stille need one front fender trim, and a back 1/4 trim as well.. pass side.  will even take a 2dr one..

also can someone enlighten me on the rear trim strips on the upper body line of the side 1/4 panel.. what models of 65 beaumont had them?
