Beaumont in a shed

Well it looks like ive found another one, sitting in a shed close to where I bought a 1966 acadian canso is this gem,a 1967 Beaumont 2dr ht.Apparently the owner has left it there for at least 7 years or so,the motor is rebuilt and in another building. The car is rough, someone attempted to weld on new quarters but it must have been their first welding job.Hard to tell whats there or not,I see buckets and console inside along with lots of other bits and peices.Ill keep watching it to see what happens, maybe it will even end up in my yard, wait no,my yard is full, need a bigger yard or less cars, bigger yard sounds better lol.

heres the tag info

style   73617   2   2   3

body no.  835431

paint   T

trim   383

A51M35

Im sure the pontiac gurus can help decode this one, thanks.

Am i missing something?    if this is a 736 car built on feb 3,  Why does is only have A51 listed and not D55.   Does it have a console delete?

Its well after the 738 switch in december,  so it should have both A51 and D55 ???????????????????????????????????????????

I was told that the car was a 67 and when I saw the hood I just figured it was but anythings possible, ill snoop some more tomorrow and see,if I can move some junk around and get to the back that should tell the story.By the way stacking is not an option, cant imagine what the new neighbors would say.

The trim code is 383,    that is only a 66 trim code for bronze interior and only available on a SD car

T is for paint color Sandalwood tan for 1966

T is for paint color Capri Cream in 1967

So just look to see what color the car was originally on the firewall and door jams.

I will guess it is a 1966 SD car,  wierd color combo tho?????

Also, the cowl tag apears to have its original rivits on the botom, but also some big screws above them,  whats the deal there.

I would be all over this thing with decoding if i was you.

I was wondering about those large screws too, looks like the rivets may be original but someone added the extra large screws.I will be checking the car over closer tomorrow and see if I can figure it out.

Dual master cylinder, not as if that is set in stone that it's a 67 though.

I saw that too,  but based on the 383 trim code,  the cowl tag has to be from a 66 for sure.    ?

well you guys were right,it is a 1966 sports deluxe,I looked at the rear of the car after moving piles of junk and its a 66 rear panel. As for colours this car has been painted several times including the jambs so untill its moved out of the shed so I can take a better look we will have to go by the tag.It will most likely be up for sale in the near future so ill post an ad after I talk with the owner,if anyone can find him that is.Oh and the seats that I can see inside are black,so they might have been dyed or replaced ,maybe?
