Stan is at, a location, north of London..  He has a nice shop, and is building a "real deal" SD 396 4 speed  
Stan is modest of his work, so I took some pictures, for Show and tell
The car is rolling and he has all new parts to finish..
 
Note the $2200.00 side trim  its like jewellery.....   car wil be for sale   Save your pennies  C2

Its a 396 4 speed car but I don't know about numbers..

Border Pontiac car- I had a 67 SD from there

I remember when the owner previous to Stan was advertising looking to buy one-imagine he found this local - and I didn't know about it !

Carl...Mine was built Oct 24th, (1966 production) and has the factory L34/396 with M-20 option.

Yes, but your cowl tag will say 736 on it.

I likely worded my reply wrong. I was trying to say that 396 cars were 736 cars with option A51 (Sport Option) prior to December 66.

I'm sure somewhere along the way you will encounter an "expert" who will tell you your car is not a real big block since it's a 736 VIN!
