I really like these and the Cabalero model, but every time I see one for sale, they are almost aways toasted! Too bad, usually the rare parts that make them so unique are long gone!

That looks like a 74. I had a '74 ElCamino SS 454, bought it 3 yrs old and it was on it's 2 paint job and starting to rust again by the spring of '78. This series didn't have much rust protection to stand up to the Ontario road salt. Mine had holes in the floor after the winter!
I am not an expert on these cars however I believe that the optional High Sierra version and SP version got the stacked headlights. GMC did that a lot with their model line up. I saw a 1999 Suburban the other day with round single headlights which looked odd to me. When I looked it up only the SLE and SLT got the rectangular lights. The base model got the rounded headlights.
