Long known among Pontiac enthusiasts as one of the best restored 1958 Bonnevilles in existence, and extremely rare due to its triple-green color combination, this striking Pontiac Bonneville Super Deluxe sport coupe sold at RMs Milhous auction in Boca Raton, Florida, for $121,000, including a 10 percent buyers premium.
This is not just any Bonneville mind you; its equipped with the coveted Tri-Power carburetor option, along with StratoFlite four-speed automatic transmission and Trans Portable radio. Entering the auction with a $100,000 to $150,000 estimate, this fully powered 300hp beauty was restored about 20 years ago and has remained in near-perfect condition. For Fifties-era Pontiac fans, it doesnt get much better than this.
Thats a "beauty" but I assumed it would have been a 'rag top". WRONG again, when the pic. came up. Must be a 'trailer queen" if restored 20 yrs. ago & still in "PERFECT" condition!!! A "late" friend of mine used to call those cars "GARAGE FURNITURE" said "you dusted them off, then sat in it, or just stepped back, & looked at it" His 41 Chevy Cabrolet became one of "those" after extensive resto, high insurance evaluation, & he parked it!!! Car was sold just before he passed away.

Todd I like that approach!!!! Do you think we could convince the Bonneville Owners?? Reminds me of my first 58 that I purchased when it was 2 years old for $1700.00. Now I really know I should have kept it!!!! Bob.
