Hi, Has anyone used Royal Purple oils in their posi rear ends or Muncie transmissions? This is for a 1964 car.

I think its good stuff

but if the car does not fail in 20-30 years

is it really because of the product? wink

Thanks for the quick reply. I use it in my new cars and it works great. So why not in the old ones, right.

Just make sure you don't use synthetic oil in a Muncie! It is too slippery and will cause failure of your synchros. Synthetic is fine in the rear end though.

I know you didn't say anything about synthetic lube, but just be aware. nod.gif
