Rare '66 Pontiac Laurentian 2 Dr. Sedan not a 427

The car is in Edmonton though on the north side close to where I go quite a lot.  Wouldn't be that hard for me to check it out.

OH OH I'm gettin the impression we're talking about two different cars.  Please disregard although i will say if I had 1300 I'd probably buy that post car.

There is a member here who has that one I bet. Remember it Carl? I think it has red spray paint around the wheel wheel openings.

You are the king at finding pictures on this site, and I know he has posted some (hint, hint)

That's the one I recall. I had the black spray paint areas wrong. That is sure the car though. I recall him buying it a couple of years ago and at that point I was still looking for either a GP or a post car. Right then he was not interested in selling it though.

See how well I have Ray trained?    Hes my sidekick

Car looks like a easy fix....

speaking of 2 doors...  that 396 white GP should be out of storage soon

I wish I was as comfortable traveling West as I am East...  car seems to be thousands of miles from civilization  Consul Sask?

All I wanted was pictures of it underneath

Well Carl, it's simple. It's an easy drive to Consul from here in a day. So you have a spot to rest your head, put up your feet in between Clinton and nowhere. And if it's summer time, the cottage is only 6 miles off your path as well, although it adds 3 hours to your journey that day when you head west from there vs from here. Maybe it's time the old dog tried a new trick!!!!

If you buy it, you HAVE to stop here with it on the way home so I can see what I missed...

Thank you     that helps with decisions

I have friends like you in the East that I would trust enough to get a vehicle and hold it for me...  They stored my moms Camry for  10 weeks

How far are you from Consul ?

Unfortunately about 400 miles in the wrong direction from you (like up towards Fort macmurray), BUT I do have a spacious acreage with a spot in my field car row for the old girl.

Put it this way, Its almost worth buying now and  storing until the time is once again right to build one of those beasts.

Maybe I'll tow it out to ya with my 66 Grande when I make the trip out east .

Any one know what happened to this car, it was posted back in 2012.3488287_20 (1).jpg

I'm looking for parts for my 66 2 door laurentian sedan.

I need a back window along with alot of things. Anyone know if the back window is the same in the 4 door sedans, or in the US models?

I will check and be back to you in just a bit, but I bet it's the same as 4 door.

Great Carl, thanks.

How do you find this info. I'm looking to buy the shop or service manuals, or anything available to help with my car.

I have collected manuals for GM's since about 1980! Don't be scared to ask for info.

Do you have none of the manuals? I can check but I don't think I have any spares for a 66.

I would say the two best ones to buy would be the GM Master Parts Catalogue and the 2 Service Manuals for 66. There would be a chassis manual and a Fisher Body manual.

I have electronic version of the Canadian 66 pontiac owners manual, and electronic 66 Fisher body US version.

The US Fisher body will be very good, a lot of the stuff is the same. For a Chassis manual, an Impala one will do you just fine. When you lift your body off the frame, you are staring at an Impala.

The parts book is great because they have lots of parts diagram/blowups.

I'll look but I think I've sold all my extras for 66.
