Glad to have found this site. Already have found lots of information and tips. I have a 62 Acadian Beaumont rag top.Seems it is an awfully rare car, but the posts I have read thru so far have been very informative.  I hope to get some pictures of it up soon.   Thanks to all.

1962 Acadian Convertible

Only 1250 Acadian convertibles were built in 1962 and very few are still around.

The '62 had ACADIAN spelled out in individual letters between the grill and the filler panel. A car with all the letters intact is the exception. As with most Acadian trim, they're not reproduced.

 By the way, I see you are in Manitoba. There is a group of us here on Canadian Poncho who get together for a coffee on a casual basis, usually 3-4 times a year.  We plan to do it this Tuesday, the 27th. Our normal time and place is Robin's Donuts north of the mint behind the gas station at Fermor and #59.

I have removed all chrome parts and trims that may "go missing" via sticky fingers, but the Acadian across the front was damaged back in the 70's and could not be replaced.

This old girlhas been sitting covered and out of sight on our property the past few years. I need some time to pull it out and clean it up before pictures can be taken. Might have some old pics if it hauling the boat and the kids to the beach LOL ala Mr Mom. Seriously tho, the weather hasnt been the greatest~ was going to do it last weekend but too cold and wet. She's not very pretty the way she is. Definitely a project.
