I would think the seat frame is the same as Chevy, but the material, & pattern will be different for sure!!! I'm sure someone else will jump in here to help you. May have a tough time trying to match up material unless you do a complete re-cover with "something " close too it!!!!

ok thanks...getting to the carpet,the Canadian model appears to have the same floor pan as the 55 chevy...carpet is light red.Does the chevy have the same colours as the Pantiac??..anyone know ?? thanks for all the help....learning alot on the canadian/american Pontiac differences,but more to learn yet...thanks guys
Please post the numbers from the data plate on the firewall.Some Canadian Pontiac interiors share the same Style number as the Chevrolet depending on the model. Seats are identical as far as frames from identical models pontiac vs chev. The original fabrics are still available from SMS interiors by the yard. The horn rings are also the same in 55 and 56 Can pontiac and Chevrolet the difference is the horn cap only. Carpet colours are the same but I will need the data plate nos to verify.

check our web store www.nosreproductions.com Red was an original colour for 55-57 Chevy's & Canadian Pontiacs. The fact it is light red means it most likely has faded over 50 some years. Look under one of your sill plates or anywhere the carpet was not exposed to the light for a close to factory colour

Make sure you select a Chevy model. The Pontiacs shown are US and are more exspensive

The floor pans are the same as Chev. Check with member "NOS" on this site. He will know and can supply you with the correct carpet

Body Serial 843 is the sequence number of all 2 dr Laurentian hardtops built at the time yours was manufactured.
Paint 550 Black.
All 55 Pontiac Laurentian 2 dr hardtops with paint code 550 Black were only available with the 610 interior.
It must of been a really beautiful car when new and will be very eye catching when it is completed.
