Hey Guys, I need to replace the front brake wheel cylinder seals and dust covers. I am in the UK and so do not have instant access to parts on the shelf for my car.
My question is, are they the same as Chevy Impala? if so what year. I have been told that they share a lot of parts with '61 Chevy, is this correct?
The shoes are marked up Bendix made in Canada. The wheel cylinders are marked Wagner PFD-34425.
So what parts do I look for? ( I am going to look on the internet and Uk based parts shops, just could do with a headstart as Canadian cars cause confusion here!)
They are the same as Chev, as to what years, someone on here will let u know. If you Google Antique Chev Parts Toronto, you can download there full size chev book and can order from them, just make sure you tell them you have a 62 Chev when ordering, causes less confusion, I have a 61 poncho and I tell them I have a 61 chev when I order. cheers mate
If you want to pay for the parts and shipping, I will gladly get the parts, box them up and mail them to you if you have a paypal account or access to one.

Most of the better UK suppliers should have no problem supplying parts for your car, just tell them it's an Impala like everyone else has said (after all that's what it is underneath). OCW in Greenford have always been my first port of call if I'm not bringing back stuff in my suitcase. They're AC Delco stockists.
If you buy from N. American stores don't forget you'll be paying import duty, VAT and a fee to the Post Office for collecting same......................
