Testing the waters on this

i just pulled the truck out of winter storage

 

1998 chevrolet silverado

short box reqular cab p/u

black with burgandy interior

305 w 4speed auto 3:42 rear axle  190,000km (mechanic owed & maint)

( gets surprising good gas milage - 600+km per tank )

lowered 3"

flowmaster exhaust - superchips programmer

tinted windows , newer lifting tonneau cover

 

intake gaskets done last year , new alt in fall before being put into storage

 

asking $5800 

 

once i get the old girl cleaned up i'll post more pictures

its not that i have to or really need to  sell it , but

i have a 2year old and a little one on the way

plus my dog and my wife

that makes 4 people & a dog - that really  dont quite fit in a req cab

 

and as much as i would like to keep it , the money would pad my bank account much more then the money getting drained out of it by insurance & gas in a 3rd vehicle

Actually I drive so lightly with it that I got nailed in the tailgate !

I get between 450 and 500 km to a tank thats mostly 60 - 80 km/hr

I drive 40km round trip everyday to and. From work
80l tank gets me 600km sometimes more
That's doing mostly 80-90km/h.

305ci with 4l60e auto and a 3:42 rear gear
Its has a K & N filter , flowmaster muffler & 3" tailpipe
And a superchips programmer set on perf 87octane

that is a very very nice truck. a friend of built a sport truck, with a killer 350,holley projection, built trans and 9 inch. Was red. Any short box lowered truck IMO is nice.
